A Private Off-site Space, at the Waterfront in Berlin Rummelsburg.

Hidden in the heart of the city, nestled into the banks of the Spree river, overlooking its widest point, Studio 3.8 is an off-site space hosting selected meetings and get-togethers. Only a short distance from the Berlin city centre, its lush natural surroundings impart tranquility and freedom, transporting guests to an unforeseen place of calm and perception. It is a private and peaceful oasis within the bustle of Berlin urban life, thoughtfully created to let inspiration flow, trigger creative exchange, nurture self-development and common progress.

Studio 3.8 is a concept for professional get-togethers that require privacy and tranquility for focused thinking, learning and decision making. The studio welcomes groups, teams and task forces that seek an exceptional retreat scenario for executive off-sites and management meetings, strategy and ideation workshops, coaching sessions and presentations.

Extraordinary Space

for Inspiration & Creative Exchange

The Space

Designed as a generous open-space with a mezzanine floor and a large waterfront terrace, the modern, minimalist design of Studio 3.8 allows the breathtaking setting to take centre stage. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offer sweeping views of the water; the light-flooded interior conveys the feeling of a grand living-room with high-ceilings, walnut floors and light-toned wooden wall panels, an open bar, a fireplace as well as several lounge and meeting areas.

The Community

Studio 3.8 is a pioneering project of the Spreestudios community, risen from what used to be the grounds of a public river bath, created in the 1920s. Deconstructed and redeveloped by architecture studio Thomas Baecker Bettina Kraus, the internationally-lauded community project accommodates diverse artistic, design and entrepreneurial initiatives that have given new life to the Rummelsburg neighborhood on Berlin’s most exciting waterfront property within the city.

Creative Collaborations

Studio 3.8 is an ever evolving concept space that integrates creative collaborations with designers and artists, as well as pieces from the founders’ private collection into its spatial experience.

The current set-up has been curated by Catherine Pfisterer of Bazar Noir, showcasing a careful selection of handcrafted furniture, design objects from the likes of Coordination Berlin, NEO/CRAFT, as well as artworks from Maximilian Magnus, Tilen Sepic, and more.
